The Gasselhöh Hut is located at 1,740 meters above sea level in the middle of the beautiful mountains of the Schladming-Dachstein region. Since 1973, it has been a popular destination for hikers, families, and connoisseurs—a place where guests become friends. Whether you're looking for a leisurely alpine hike or a challenging summit tour, the Reiteralm offers hiking trails of all levels of difficulty. Numerous hiking routes with panoramic views of the Dachstein start from the hut. Particularly popular are the Reiteralm circular trail with Spiegelsee, Obersee, and Rippeteck lakes, as well as the idyllic Reiteralmsee lake, which is only a short walk away.
